Blame it on the Neighbours  was first performed at the Canal Café Theatre in London on the 8 th  July 2014 with the following cast:   Astrid Maslen Michael Dobby Lowenna Melrose Stefan Holland   Characters Charmaine Middleston, 59, Originally from London. Edward Middleston, 63, from Cheveley, Cambridgeshire. Stacey Jones, 30, Originally from London. Anita Jones, 28, Originally from Oxford. I’d like to thank the cast at the Canal Café Theatre for their love and enthusiasm for theatre, comedy and my work. We can now afford to slow down… In the charming village of Cheveley, Cambridgeshire, a spread of land almost completely formed of paddocks, Mr and Mrs Middleston (Not to be confused with the Middleton’s), two advocates for the worlds greater good, (Or so they say) have invited their new neighbours to discuss the issue about their dog and his droppings, that seem to be loosing Cheveley its higher ranks in the “Cleanest Town of Great Britain” leagues. Unfortunately, the weather takes a dramatic turn for the worse and both couples are forced to accompany one another for an evening of bickering, drinking and blaming...
